CALVIN L. PRITCHETT

Calvin Leonard Pritchett, age 75, of Wingate, MD, died early Wednesday morning, June 22, 2011 at Mallard Bay Care Center, Cambridge.

Born on January 25, 1936 he was the son of the late James Hobart Pritchett and Mildred Catherine Todd Pritchett.

He was the companion of the late Margaret Blazek who died August 30, 2007.

For several years he had worked for the I.F. Cannon Seafood Company.

Calvin enjoyed traveling the country with his companion of over fifty years.

Surviving is his sister Doris E. Windsor and her husband William “Snooks” Windsor of Wingate, MD; a step-sister Mildred Phippins of Salisbury, MD; a nephew Billy Windsor of Hurlock, MD; two nieces Cindy Cannon and her husband John, Vicky Simmons and her husband Randy, all of Cambridge, MD; a great-niece Megan Neal; five great-nephews Jonathan Cannon, Joshua Cannon, Jacob Simmons, Ryan Windsor and Jason Neal.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24th at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Officiating at the service will be The Rev. Mary Ann Farnell. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Randy Simmons, John Cannon, Billy Windsor, Donnie Simmons, David Tibbet and George L. Murphy.

Memorial offerings may be made to either Wingate U.M. Church or Lakes & Straits Vol. Fire Dept.
