C. ROBERT GUNTER

C. Robert Gunter, age 57, of Cambridge, MD, passed away June 2, 2011, at Dorchester General Hospital.

Born January 28, 1954, he was the son of the late Clarence Gunter, Jr. and Ursula Ida Lobe Gunter. He attended Annapolis High School.

Mr. Gunter previously served in the Air Force and Army Reserve, coached football and soccer. He enjoyed bass fishing and spending time with family and friends. He is our Hero and loved by many.

Surviving is his beloved fiance, Michele Bernstein Jenkins of Cambridge, MD; loving son Robert T. Gunter and his wife Jennifer, of Greensboro, MD; loving daughter Misty M. Gunter of Crofton, MD, both from the union of a previous marriage to Debbie Plack; five loving sisters Carla White and Carol Jones of Glen Burnie, Lola Steele of West Virginia, Patty Gunter of Louisiana and Isolda Gunter of Germany and their families; three beautiful grandchildren, Dakota, Sophie and Hunter.

A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 13, 2011 at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, 6827 East New Market Ellwood Rd, Hurlock, MD. Friends and family are invited to gather at Souls Harbor Church of God, 718 Peachblossom Ave., Cambridge, following service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made in memory of Robert Gunter to Souls Harbor Church of God, 718 Peachblossom Ave., Cambridge, MD 21613.
