Hold those many precious memories close to heart to help you thru this difficult time. Our loss is God's gain Mrs. Patsy was truly an ANGEL. 06/11/2012 Richard W. (Bill) Peterson I feel I was privileged to know Patsy (Jones) McWilliams back in the 1950s, when we were in the Cambridge High School Band. She was a very beautiful and lovely young woman, who amazed everyone with her skill as a majorette. I remember when we would go to Washington DC for anual parades, and the parade announcer would tell the parade watcher that there was Patsy Jones from Cambrdge, Maryland, the award winning majorette. She was ahead of me in high school when she graduated, and so I lost touch with her and other of my school mates. But since my Mom and my brother and his family live in Cambridge, I have visited often, and saw Patsy once again about 5 years ago and talked to her about our memories of our high school years. She was a very kind and wonderful person as well as a great Christ like Christian. My sympathy goes out to her beloved family. Bill Peterson, North Carolina 06/11/2012 Julie P. Slacum Dear Gorton, Chet, and Heidie, I am so sorry to learn of Patsy's passing. Your sorrow must be great at this time. Patsy was such a delight to be around, and it was obvious how she adored her family (including her granddaughters). I have you on my daily prayer list, and I pray for God to comfort and strengthen you in your times of need ahead. Even though Patsy is in her heavenly home, the loved ones she left behind on this temporary earth may find it difficult to move ahead. But you will. God bless and surround you with His love. With Deepest Sympathy, Julie 06/11/2012 Gary & Terri Mills We are all very sorry for your loss. You are all in our prayers. 06/11/2012 Janie Elliott & Steve Lewis We are so very sorry to hear about Patsy's passing. She was such a very happy person, who always had a smile on her face. McWilliams c/o Newcomb & Collins Funeral Home, P.A. funeral home. 06/11/2012 Sylvia Brannock Windsor Today, less than 3 months after losing my mother, I have lost a very dear friend. I remember when I was younger watching Patsy Jones strut, and I do mean strut, down Race Street leading the Cambridge High Band. Wow what a great majorette she was. I can still see her in my mind's eye. Little did I know that this wonderful person would become my friend. Enrolling into her aerobics class in the 70s was a life-changing experience for me. The 14 years I spent following her from place to place while she taught were some of my happiest experiences. She was special, unique and lots of fun. She allowed me to enjoy her family and become her friend. I feel very privileged to have that honor. My heart goes out to Gorton, Chet, Heidi and the rest of her family. I will never forget her and will cherish her memory for as long as I live. 06/11/2012 Charlotte Mays My prayers are with your family. Patsy, you were the most loving, unique, fun person I have ever known. She loved her family deeply, held those granddaughters very close to her heart. I will think of her often, and miss her.
