My sincere condolences for the loss of your dear mother, Patsy. May you find comfort in your loving memories, and in God's promise to soon "swallow up death forever...and wipe away the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25;8) God also promises of a time soon when " no resident will say : I am sick." (Isaiah 33:24) That is a wonderful time to look forward to! You will find more comforting thoughts @ jw.org.

Friends - January 8, 2015 Posted: January 8, 2015 | Last Revised: January 8, 2015 Patsy and I were the best of friends back in our early days. We rode the same school bus, went to the same church in Dominion, played together, and was in the same grade at school up through the 10th grade, when I moved to Centreville. We had lots of fun together. I didn't see much of her after both of us married, but we used to stop and see her at the American Legion in Cambridge ever now and then, and a few years ago stopped to visit her and took her flowers when she was sick. She was a good friend and I will miss her.
