Peter Vigneri

Peter V. Vigneri, 79, of Cambridge, Maryland passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Mallard Bay Care Center, Cambridge with his family by his side.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 25, 1939, he was a son of the late Vincent Joseph and Anne DeLuca Vigneri.

Peter attended schools in Baltimore and graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute with the class of 1957.

On April 11, 1960 he married the former Patricia J. Coomes and together raised three sons.

Peter worked as a salesman in manufacturing of sporting goods.

He was a member of the Lloyds Creek Hunting Club in Gelena, Maryland.

Peter enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a decoy carver/artist. He was a civil war buff and loved collecting everything and anything.

Peter will truly be missed by his family and everyone who knew him.

Surviving him is his wife Patricia and their three sons Peter T. Vigneri of Smyrna, DE, Vincent C. Vigneri (friend Ginger) of East New Market, MD and Dominic “Micky” M. Vigneri of Glen Burnie, MD; grandchildren Geniene Nieves-Vigneri and husband Cat, Vinessa M Vigneri (friend Jason) of Hurlock MD, Peter Vigneri II and his wife Sara, Samantha Vigneri, Kristen Vigneri (friend Drew) and Dominic “Zach” Vigneri; great grandchildren Tristan Nieves-Warner, Sophia Nieves-Warner and Amelia Rumbly.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was his brother Vincent Vigneri and sister-in-law Harriett “Dee” Vigneri.

Memorial donations in Peter’s name can be sent to Kitty City Rescue, P.O. Box 1259, Cambridge, MD 21613.

Services will be private.
