SUE ANN STIVERS

Sue Ann Stivers, age 67, a former Cambridge resident and presently of Federalsburg, MD died Friday, March 28, 2008 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford, DE.

Born on January 11, 1941 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Albert L. Hafner of Dundalk, MD and the late Yvonne Vail Hafner.

In 1959 she married Edward Wayne Stivers.

In 1985 she and her husband moved from Baltimore to Town Point in Cambridge and later moved to Federalsburg in 1992.

Her hobbies were ceramics, needlepoint and crocheting.

Surviving besides her husband Edward Wayne Stivers of Federalsburg, MD and her father Albert L. Hafner, Jr. of Dundalk, MD are three sons Mark Wayne Stivers and his wife Roxanne of Secretary, MD, Robert Ernest Stivers of Federalsburg, MD, Daniel Joseph Stivers and his wife Dawn of East New Market, MD; eight grandchildren Jessica Elizabeth Webster and her husband Lawrence of Hurlock, MD, Tina Marie Stivers of Baltimore, MD, Mark Wayne Stivers II and his wife Jamie of Cambridge, MD, Robert Ernest Stivers, Jr of Federalsburg, MD, Michael Vincent Stivers of Secretary, MD, Daniel Joseph Stivers of East New Market, MD, Eric Paul Stivers of Secretary, MD, Hailey Elizabeth Stivers of East New Market, MD; seven great-grandchildren Alexis Leann Smith of Sykesville, MD, Richard Lawrence Webster of Hurlock, MD, Lauren Elizabeth Webster of Hurlock, MD, Amberlyn Marie Stivers of Baltimore, MD, Christopher Alan Stivers of Cambridge, MD, Ryan Scott Stivers of Baltimore, MD, and Nathaniel Grant Stivers of Cambridge, MD; and a half brother Donald Hafner of Dundalk, MD.

Besides Mrs. Stivers mother, Yvonne Vail Hafner, she was preceded in death by her son Edward James Stivers.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday evening, April 3rd at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A., where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Officiating at the service will be The Rev. George Hufnagel. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date.

The family will also receive friends on Saturday, April 19th from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at The First Baptist Church of Lansdowne, 2301 Alma Rd., Lansdowne, MD 21227.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made in Mrs. Stivers memory to The Benedictine Foundation, 14299 Benedictine Lane, Ridgely, MD 21660.
