Born June 5, 1927 on the family farm in the "Meekins Neck" area of Golden Hill, Maryland.
She was the daughter of the late F. Leland Mills and Susan Dunnock Mills.
She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1944.
She was married in 1951 to Eugene Elliott who passed away 1988.
Mrs. Elliott was associated with Charles Powell for the past 37 years. She had been with Powell Reality since the day it opened for business in 1974. She also worked a number of years prior for the Dorchester County Assessment Office. She was a Maryland Licensed Realtor for over forty years. Her knowledge of Dorchester County property was undeniable.
She is survived by a son, Gilbert E. Windsor, Jr. and his wife Sally of The Villages, Florida; four grandsons Gilbert “Gibby” E. Windsor III of Cambridge, MD, Christopher Michael Windsor of Memphis, TN, Chad Eugene Windsor of Easton, MD, and Nicholas Allen Windsor of West Palm Beach, FL; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Francis “Jack” Dunnock Mills, a sister Virginia Mills Hickey and an infant grandson Brian Keith Windsor.
Funeral services will be held at Curran-Bromwell Funeral Home, P.A. on Saturday, September 26th at 11:00 a.m., where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Officiating at the service will be The Rev. Robert G. Kirkley. Private burial will be held on Monday at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, MD.
