Alice O. Tente, 71, of Cambridge, Maryland made her transition to the angels on February 22, 2018, with her loving husband by her side. She exhibited unparalleled faith, courage, strength, perseverance, and love until the moment of her passing.
Born on December 14, 1946 in Cambridge, MD, she was the daughter of the late Matthew “Bucky” Windsor and Dorothy G. (Phillips) Windsor, who lovingly called her "Izzy".
Alice graduated from Cambridge High School in 1965. In 1986 she met and fell in love with Joseph W. Tente, they married on September 19, 1987, living in Rhode Island until moving back to Cambridge, MD in 1991.
Alice was passionate about helping others along with working at New England Reagent Laboratory and her latest employment, the Talbot Co. Health Department until her health forced her to retire in 2013.
Alice was known to rescue animals and fell in love with each and every one of them. She considered them her children and referred to them as her “fur babies”. She loved knitting and crocheting along with working with her plants and gardening. Alice had a great love for collecting recipes and creating wonderful meals, making their house a home. She was devoted and loved her Lord. Alice was a very compassionate person and everyone who knew her loved her. She will be truly missed.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 30 years, Joseph W. Tente; nieces, Randi Lowe (husband Mark) and Tiffani Abbott; nephew Charles K. Orem IV, and great nephew Colby Christopher Abbott.
Preceding her in death besides her parents is her brother Charles K. Orem III, her sister Dottie C. Abbott and a great niece Ciarra Raye Abbott.
