Carla Dawn Foxwell

Carla Dawn Foxwell, 46, of Cambridge, Maryland passed away on Sunday evening, September 11, 2022 in Easton, Maryland.

Born on September 7, 1976 in Cambridge, Maryland she was the daughter of Greg Foxwell and Teri Jones Handley.

Carla attended Open Bible School and graduated with the Class of 1994.  After graduating, Carla was accepted into the nursing program at Wor-Wic Community College and received her Associate Degree to begin her career as a Registered Nurse.   She was very proud of her accomplishment as Carla’s passion was helping others.

She enjoyed being the social butterfly, going to live concerts, watching murder shows and loved all types of pets.  Carla loved her children and always wanted them to be safe.  She will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

Surviving Carla besides her parents are two children Corbin Insley and Chloe Insley (Ian Mason) of Hurlock, MD, three sisters Courtney Foxwell Slacum (Shannon) and Colby Foxwell Robbins (Lucas) both of Cambridge, Alisha Mowery and her children of Willards, MD; nieces Aliza Adams and Rilyn Robbins, Amanda Bair, Alexia Bair, and her nephew Collin Bair; three special men who were in her life as a child Wayne Marshall (Pop), Daniel Handley (Jimbuck), Joey Mowery.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 beginning 1:00 pm. at Gerry Boyle Park at Great Marsh, Cambridge, MD with Pastor Steve Bloodsworth officiating.   A visitation will be held an hour prior to the service. Dress code is casual.
