Caroline Gordy Woolfolk passed away Monday morning July 18, 2016 at Chesapeake Woods Center, Cambridge. She was 93.
Born April 8, 1923 in Wilmington, DE she was a daughter of the late Irving and Sarah Jane Gordy.
After graduating from Cambridge High School in 1940, she attended Goldey Beacon Business School. She was then employed at E.I. DuPont.
On February 3, 1958, she married Edmund Winston Woolfolk. They were married 47 years and made their home in Cambridge. Mr. Woolfolk died on October 31, 2005.
Caroline had the life she always wanted, being a homemaker, a mother and a grandmother.
She is survived by her three sons Edmund W. Woolfolk, Jr. (Jill), Richard Woolfolk and W. David Woolfolk (Emily); eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a brother William Gordy.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers Irving Gordy, Jr. and John A. Gordy; a sister Betty Jane Cassell.
All services will be private.
