Cathy Bramble

Cathy Lou Bramble, 59, of East New Market, Maryland died peacefully on Wednesday morning, September 5, 2018, at her home, with her family by her side.

Born December 15, 1958 in Cambridge, Maryland, she was a daughter of the the late Troy S. and Ottalee H. Sneed.

Ms. Bramble was a graduate of North Dorchester High School Class of 1976.  Anyone who knew her, knew she had a love for animals, especially cats and dogs.  She enjoyed football, baseball, and Nascar.

Surviving are her children, daughter Kimberly Dawn Abey and her husband Sammy of Secretary, Maryland, daughter Troi Lynn Faith and her husband Michael of Cambridge, Maryland, and son Michael Allan Bramble, Jr. of East New Market, Maryland; three grandchildren, grandson Sam Abey IV of East New Market, granddaughter Brooke Abey of Secretary, and granddaughter Taylor Jones of Cambridge; an aunt Catherine (Kitty) Jones, special friends Missy and Butch Willoughby, godchildren Rusty Willoughby and Kelli Dawn Helmer, special cousin Terri Lynn Ewing, along with several other cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Preceding her in death besides her parents is a brother, Wally Sneed, and a granddaughter, Sydney Nicole Bramble.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 beginning 12 noon at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., Cambridge. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.  Officiating the service will be Chaplain Joel Beiler.  Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park in Cambridge, Maryland.

Serving as pallbearers will be Sam Abey, Sammy Abey, Rusty Willoughby, RJ Helmer, Jake Lewis, and Kyle Hardy.  Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Bramble Jr, Michael Faith, and Butch Willoughby.
