Charles Thompson

Charles Turner Thompson passed away at Mallard Bay nursing home on January 19, 2021.

Charles was born in Cambridge in 1949 and has been a Dorchester resident ever since.  He attended public schools in Cambridge and The Brown School in Texas.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Judge C. Awdry Thompson and Mary A. Thompson.  He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Julia and John Moore, as well as nephew John Jr. (Jennifer) and grand- nieces Jessica and Jacqueline Moore.

Charles participated in Channel Marker and Pleasant Day programs and was a lifelong member of Christ Episcopal Church.  Memorial gifts can be made to Christ Church at PO Box 456 in Cambridge, 21613.

Charles’ ashes will be buried in a graveside service in the Christ Church graveyard, adjacent to the church.  This service will follow the 9:00AM church service on Sunday, January 31, starting at approximately 10:00 AM, rain or shine.  All are welcome.
