Dana Dickerson

Dana L. Dickerson, 56, of Church Creek passed away peacefully Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake, Salisbury surrounded by her entire family.
Born August 25, 1957 in Washington D.C, she was the daughter of Audrey Parker Johnson and the late Edward Charles Trewin. After moving to the area she attended schools in Cambridge and the North Dorchester High School from where she graduated with the Class of 1975.
Dana was a very kind and thoughtful person and all who knew her were aware of her motto "short and sweet". As her health was failing Dana wrote the following to share with you at this time:

"If you are reading this I am dancing on the streets of gold. I have a wonderful husband John Dickerson. I have two beautiful daughters Carol Lynn and Brittney Ann Dickerson; three of the most wonderful grandchildren Jazlyn and Gavin Sapulos and Barley Webster. I love you all and will miss you.
Also, two of the best sisters ever Debbie Warfield and Desty Trewin and the best brother-in-law Alvin Warfield. All my wonderful nieces and nephews - Leslie, Audrey, Sophia, Hudson and Sammy Schwab – Timmy, Anna, Lauren, Atlee and Fuller Schwab, Angie and Jenny Myers - Kim, Shane, Rebekah and Aaron Palamaras - Greg, Cathy and Drew Warfield, Casey and Tanner Helgason - Katie Warfield, Emma and Ellie Sard - Ricky, Leah and Brian Dukes. Pam Burgan (sister-in-law), David, Martina, Johnny and Jacob Burgan and Jason and Angela Dickerson. I love you all and will miss you.
I love my Jubliee Christian Fellowship family, each and every one of you. Keep the faith.
Mr. Buddy and Ms. Barb, I will take care of Shasta. Pastors George and Joyce Wheatley, I will take care of Jessie. Brittney, I will take care of Zombie and of course Oliver. Carol, I will take care of Boog."

Preceding her in death besides her father is a nephew Keith Schwab.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 15, 2013 beginning 1p.m. at the Jubliee Christian Fellowship Church, Cambridge. Officiating at the service will be Pastor George Wheatley.

Dana requested anyone attending please wear blue jeans.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Dana can be made to the Jubliee Christian Fellowship Church, P.O. Box 202, Cambridge, MD 21613.
