Dianne Baur, Mimi to most, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones in Cambridge, Maryland on October 13 , 2025 at the age of 85.

Born on September 5, 1940 in Huntington, New York, Dianne lived a life marked by deep faith, love for family, and a spirit of service to others. She found beauty in the simple joys of life ~ sunsets over the water and mountains, a scoop of her favorite ice cream and time spent with the people she loved most.

Dianne leaves behind a legacy of love with her daughters Nancy Esposito of White Sulphur Springs, New York, Suzi Conaway and Rebecca Redmer of Cambridge, Maryland; the sons life gave her Robert Esposito, Otis Conaway and Scott Redmer, grandchildren Anthony Esposito, Lily Perry, Sophia (Darius) Keller, Lucas Redmer and Madison Redmer; great-grandsons Ryker Abbott and Keegan Keller and her bonus family members Jacob Redmer and Lantz & Katie Perry. She also leaves behind her dear sister Susan (Richard) Bell and many cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Helene Deuel; her sister Denise Wagner, granddaughter Kenzie Conaway and the love of her life, her husband Robert Baur.

Throughout her career, Dianne was dedicated to the fields of editing and early childhood development. A devoted member of St. Mary Refuge of Sinners, she gave generously of her time and heart, serving her community through St Vincent dePaul Society and other parish ministries.

Dianne’s legacy is one of compassion, quiet strength, and unwavering love. She will be remembered for her warm presence, her faith-filled life, love of poetry and the deep connections she nurtured with family and friends.

The family would like to thank her care team from Coastal Hospice who gave love, care and support over the last few months.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, 308 High St., Cambridge, MD.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 18, 2025 beginning 1:00 p.m. Dianne will be buried in Laurel Hill Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs, New York at a later date.
