Dwight Matthew Riley

Dwight M. Riley, 35, of Cambridge, Maryland passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026 at his home with his family at his side.

Born in Cambridge on January 12, 1991, he was a son of Janet Riley and the late Darius Riley, Sr.

Dwight was a wonderful young man. Although disabled since birth he obtained his G.E.D. certificate. He loved music of all types and greatly enjoyed his electronic tablet. Being outside in his yard amongst all the beauty of nature brought him joy as well as going for rides in the car with his family.

He was a member of Beckwith United Methodist Church. He attended Pleasant Day Care Center and Delmarva Community Services.

Surviving him is his mother Janet; siblings Peter I. Riley, Andrew P. Riley, Kenneth Johnson, Jr., Khalid Herbert, Quintasha Johnson, Terron Quailes, Tayvon Johnson, Kendra Johnson, Andru Johnson and KeAndra Johnson.

Preceded in his death besides his father were two brothers, Darius W. Riley, Jr and Richard D. Riley.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Beckwith United Methodist Church.
