Dwight McKay Ward

Dwight M. Ward, 72, of Chester, Maryland passed away on Monday, July 7, 2025.

Born on August 13, 1952 in Nassawadox, Virginia he was the son of the late Grace Savage Ward and Hamlet Lee Ward, Sr.

Dwight graduated from Cambridge High School with the class of 1970.

He was self-employed with his home improvement business, which he was very handy at. Dwight was an outdoorsman enjoying fishing and boating. He was known to build a few boats in his time. Dwight was an avid reader of the Daily Banner in which he would leave comments on the “Opinion Column” regularly.

Dwight is survived by his brother H.L. Ward, Jr. and his wife Martha;  sisters Teresa Buchanan and Pat Ward.
