Earl Weston Bradley, 78, of Vienna passed away peacefully Thursday, December 21, 2017 at his home with his loving family by his side.
Born December 20, 1939, he was a son of the late Juanita Cloud and James Leslie Bradley. He attended the local schools and went on to study at the then called Salisbury Teachers College. Earl served his country in the US Army and returned home to the family farm. He continued to help with the farm but began his career as a plumber. Earl had worked with Wise Oil and Fuel and George Jackson Plumbing.
Earl was very dedicated to his family and his community. His greatest pleasure always originated around his wife, kids, grandkids and extended family. Throughout the year he loved having all the family together. Christmas was his favorite time of the year; he loved cooking, baking and all the preparation. Earl, being a kid at heart, enjoyed it as much as any of the young ones. His radiate smile and hearty laugh will be greatly missed by many.
Earl was a long time member of Cambridge Lodge #66 and Tall Cedars.
Surviving is his wife Carol, who he married August 1, 1992; sons James L. Bradley and wife Julie, David C. Bradley, Steven Earl Bradley and wife Heather, James R. Fleming and wife Annette, Michael A. Fleming and wife Charlene, Richard Fleming and wife Emily; daughter Pattie C. Fleming; brother James “Jimmy” Bradley; twelve grandchildren; ten great- grandchildren; a special niece that he looked at as a daughter Amanda L. Hart; along with nieces, nephews and many friends.
Preceding him in death besides his parents is a brother Duane Bradley; grandson Christopher Bradley and stepson David C. Buchanan.
A viewing will be held Wednesday evening, December 27, 2017 from 5 till 7 pm at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., Cambridge. A Masonic service will be held beginning 6 pm followed by Military Honors.
Private interment will take place at Dorchester Memorial Park.
