Edna Todd Windsor, 105, of Toddville, Maryland passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Chesapeake Woods Center in Cambridge.

The daughter of the late Darius G. and Lydia Meredith Todd, she was born in Toddville, Maryland, April 27, 1913. On June 8, 1935, she married Carlton M. Windsor, Sr., also of Toddville, who preceded her in death on September 30, 1963.

She was educated at Toddville Elementary School and was a graduate of Crapo High School. For several years she and her husband owned and operated a general store. Later she was an employee of Meredith & Meredith Seafood Packers at Toddville.

Mrs. Windsor was a member of Zion United Methodist Church at Toddville, having been a Sunday school teacher of the youth class, later the adult class, communion steward, treasurer, member and treasurer of the United Methodist Women and served on the Administrative boards. She also served as member and chairman of various committees of the St. Thomas Charge administrative board. She was a charter member and president of the Toddville Homemakers Club. She was always an active member of the church and community. She was an avid quilter and her hand-made quilts could be found on display at various locations. She was an excellent cook and was known for the best sweet potato rolls in Dorchester County.

Surviving are a daughter Judith W. Martin and her husband William of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; a son Carlton M. Windsor, Jr. and his wife Shirley of Trappe; five grandchildren Clint Martin and wife Tammy of Sioux Falls, SD, Stuart Martin and wife Buffy of Rapid City, SD, Laura and husband Dan Slowery of Yankton, SD, Carlton M. Windsor, III of Trappe, MD, Carroll Todd Windsor and wife Roxanne of Cambridge, MD. She has 11 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren. Her beloved sister Emma T. Powley still lives in Toddville and her sister-in-law June R. Todd of Ocean City.

Preceding her in death were two sisters Wyona T. Mills and Reita T. Powley; two brothers D. Carroll Todd and wife Gloria, Omar W. Todd and a grandson Andrew John Windsor.

A viewing will be held Sunday, July, 15, 2018 from 6 till 8 pm at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., Cambridge..

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 beginning at 1 pm at the Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, PA. The family will also receive friends the hour prior to the service. Officiating will be Pastor Michael LaClair.
Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park, Cambridge.
