Frances Davidson

Frances H. Davidson, 88, of Cambridge, Maryland passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her home.

Born May 3, 1930 on Hoopers Island she was a daughter of the late George William and Blanche Dean Hall.

Frances attended and graduated from Hoopers Island High School.

On December 11, 1950 Frances married William E. Davidson, Jr. and together raised four children.

She was employed at Rob Roy and later at the Unemployment Office in Cambridge and Salisbury.

Frances was a member of Zion United Methodist Church. She loved to travel, take short rides and going out to eat. She loved spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving Frances is her husband William; children Debbie Tapper (Bicky), Donnie Davidson, Keith Davidson (Mary), Kevin Davidson (Danielle); grandchildren Tess Tapper, Spencer Davidson (MJ), Halie Wolfe (Brian) and Olivia Davidson; one great grandchild Teagan Wolfe.

Preceding her in death besides her parents were her brothers George W. Hall, III and Robert “Bobby” Hall; sisters Ruth Creighton, Naomi Elzey and Ella Frisch; sister-in-law Denise D. Jenkins.

Family will receive friends for a visitation and Celebration of Life on Thursday evening, June 21, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., 308 High St. Cambridge, Maryland.

A private graveside service will be held at the Maryland Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock, Maryland. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Hurley.

Serving as pallbearers will be Donnie Davidson, Keith Davidson, Kevin Davidson, Spencer Davidson and Bicky Roche.
