Garrett is survived by his parents Richard “Andy” Dawson and Eva “Shea” Wheatley Dawson of Wingate, MD; brother Drew Dawson of Wingate, MD; paternal grandparents Dicky and Linda Dawson of Bishops Head, MD; maternal grandparents Chuck and Dee Dee Wheatley of The Neck District, Cambridge, MD; paternal great-grandmother Caroline Dawson of Bishops Head; aunts and uncles Michelle and Bo Hughes of Madison, MD, Stacey Wheatley of The Neck District, Cambridge, MD, Chance Wheatley of Cambridge, MD; cousins Anthony Hughes, Hunter Hughes, Madison Watkins, Will Watkins and Sydney Hughes all of Madison, MD; many great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death was his paternal great-grandparents Quentin “Red” Dawson, Capt. Charles Todd and Gloria June Todd; maternal great-grandparents Arthur Stokes Wheatley and Mary Naomi Jones Wheatley, William Earl Lewis and Dorothy “Dot” Gould Lewis.
