Gene Dunn

Gene Walter Dunn, 71, of Seaford, Delaware passed away at the Seaford Center on April 21, 2017.

Born July 29, 1945 he was a son of the late Eva and Clifford Dunn.

Gene graduated from North Dorchester High School with the Class of 1964.

He worked at DuPont and was a cross country truck driver until his health would no longer allow.

In his younger years his hobbies included go-kart racing and baseball. Later years he enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends at the truck stop.

Surviving him is a daughter Sandra Dunn Waller and husband Harvey; granddaughter Jamie Stivers; two great grandsons Christopher and Nathaniel Stivers; a brother Donald Dunn; many nieces and nephews and a special friend Donna Andrews.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was a sister Judy Carmen; four brothers Raymond, Lester, Ross and Clifford, Jr.

A memorial service will be held on May 6, 2017 beginning 1p.m. at the Church of Christ, 22581 Sussex Highway, Seaford, DE 19973. Family will receive friends from 12:30 -1 p.m.
