His family’s spring and summer months were full of abundance, from his beautiful irises to his delicious sweet corn, strawberries and every kind of tomato imaginable. His nurturing nature extended to the children in his life, building birdhouses, playing games, even teaching them to whistle. He was a beloved uncle, grandfather and great grandfather and a steadfast, generous, honest man.
Surviving him is his granddaughter Jennifer Atkinson (Ashley) of Hurlock; two great grandchildren Zander and Lochlan Atkinson.
In addition to his parents and wife he is preceded in death by a son Steven Arthur Tilley.
The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the Homestead Manor Staff, for the care given to Mr. Tilley.
Guy will be interred in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
