Helen DiTullio Kohlhepp, 83, of Easton, Maryland and Rockford, Illinois passed away May 6, 2018 at Seasons Hospice at Northwest Hospital in Randallstown, Maryland.
Born April 23, 1935 in Rockford, she was a daughter of the late Theresa Luchetti and Angelo DiTullio.
Helen attended local schools in Illinois and graduated with the 1953 East Senior High School class. She then attended and graduated from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL with a Bachelor Degree in business education. She taught at Nazareth Academy Senior High School in LaGrange, IL. for three years.
Wanting a career change Helen moved to the Baltimore, MD area in 1961 and started a new position in banking at the Maryland National Bank. She retired as an Assistant Vice President after 32 years.
Helen also met her husband Arthur Eugene Kohlhepp, Jr. in Towson and they were married on December 17, 1971. Because of Gene, she also grew to love boating and dogs - her babies. Gene passed on September 3, 2009.
Surviving her is a sister Mary Ditto; a brother D. Anthony DiTullio, Sr.; three nieces and four nephews all of Rockford;
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings can be made in Helen’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D. Timonium, MD 21093.
