Jeanne M. Pinault, 82, of Cambridge passed away peacefully Monday, March 28, 2016 at Chesapeake Woods Center, Cambridge.
Born July 11, 1933 in Putnam, Connecticut, she was a daughter of the late Olive Gammon and Robert William Pinault.
After completing her fifth year of college, Jeanne set out on her lifetime career in publishing as a Freelance Editor. For over fifty years she traveled and published papers. Jeanne loved her work and also was passionate for books and art. She moved from Annapolis to Cambridge more than ten years ago and was active in the Dorchester Arts Center. Jeanne saw beauty in the simple things in life and her artist brush put them on paper. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family who surrounded her before and during her illness.
Surviving is her sister Eleanor Dean of Catonsville; nieces Peggy Permenter and husband Joe, Shari Mattos and husband Frank; nephew Robert Dean and wife Cheryl; great nieces Amy Haley and husband Eric, Carolyn Dean, Katherine Dean, Devon Mattos along with many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Dorchester Arts Center on Saturday, April 23rd from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Jeanne would be thankful for any memorial donations to be made to Dorchester Arts Center, 321 High Street, Cambridge, MD 21613, Dorchester County Public Library, 305 Gay Street, Cambridge, MD 21613 and the Baywater Animal Rescue, 4930 Bucktown Road, Cambridge, MD 21613.
