Biography

Judith Ann McGlaughlin (Judy) 44, of Cambridge, passed away Friday, Jan. 20, 2012 at the Memorial Hospital in Easton.
She was born March 2, 1967, in Baltimore, MD, daughter of Marlyn Eckert Peterson and the late Horace Grayson Peterson.
Judy attended schools in Baltimore graduating with the Class of 1985. She also attended two years of grad school to become a medic.
On July 16, 1988, Judy married Johnny L. McGlaughlin who was the love of her life. Together they shared 23 years and made many memories.
Moving from Baltimore 24 years ago Judy knew the Eastern Shore was the place she wanted to be. As a teenager she would spend every summer on Hoopers Island visiting family. Judy attended Hosier Memorial Church in Hoopers Island and was a past member of the Hoopers Island Volunteer Fire Company. When active she loved volunteering on the ambulance.
Judy worked in the medical field for 20 years, working as Office Manager for Dr. Jennifer Hollywood.
She is survived by her devoted husband Johnny, loving mother Marlyn of Baltimore, MD., daughter Heather McGlaughlin and companion Shane Sharp, of Cambridge, MD., daughter Taylor McGlaughlin of Cambridge, MD.
Two sisters Belinda Dreisch and husband Burt of Baltimore, MD; Brenda Nash and husband Bill of Baltimore, MD; twin brother Jeff Peterson and wife Patty of Baltimore, MD; grandaughter Chloe Sharp of Cambridge and several nieces and nephews. Also, her Mother and Father-in-law Jack and Priscilla McGlaughlin; Sister-in-law Patti Brohawn and husband Darrell, their children Victoria and Ray; Brother-in-law Jackie McGlaughlin and wife Teresa, their children Freddie and Kate.
Preceding her in death besides her father was a grandmother, Katherine Cannon.
Our sister was truly an angel who was called away after a long lengthy illness. She was a true fighter and will be forever missed.
Funeral Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at the Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., Cambridge. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Family will also receive friends Tuesday evening, Jan 24, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Officiating at the service will be Pastor Fred Bahr and Pastor Linda Jones. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Cambridge.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Christopher Dreisch, Darrell Brohawn, Jeff Peterson, Jeremy Reid, Jackie McGlaughlin, Tommy Willey, Freddie McGlaughlin and Ryan Dean.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Harold (Pee Wee) Wells, Burt Dreisch, Steve Merritt, Nelson Goslin and Shane Sharp.
