Karen Faye Hudkins, affectionately known as 'Nan nan' to her grandchildren, was called home to be with Christ on Sunday June 14, 2020. She leaves us at the age of 59 but will remain in our hearts forever. Karen was adored for her eccentric and excitable personality. She loved camping trips, backyard cookouts, cuddling with her great grandbabies and worshipping the Lord.
Karen made a lasting impression on each and everyone’s life that she was a part of. She leaves behind her soulmate and best friend Richard Douglas Hudkins Sr. Two siblings, Amy Diane Nelson and Thomas Stanley Geeslin (Patty). Seven children, Nancy Geeslin (Terrell) Centreville Md, Rebecca Cantrell (Aaron) Chickasha OK, Jennifer Wood (Mike) Cambridge MD, Richard Hudkins Jr (Jessica) South Korea, Sarah Hudkins Salisbury Md, Cheyenne Hudkins Mayfield Kentucky, and Jaylon Hudkins Trappe Md. Twelve grandchildren Christopher, Caryn, Emily, Tyrah, AimeeRae, Leilani, Nathan, Kaylee, Kylee, Rocky, Steven, and Eric. Seven great- grandchildren Caedyn, Camdyn, Dominic, Serrenity, Amirah, Kaiden, And Lexi.
Karen was preceded in death by her Mother Jimmie Faye Younger, Brothers Jimmy Don Nelson and Jack Walton Geeslin.
Services are to be held at Easton Church of God.
