Kevin McHale Daley, 29, of Perry Hall, Maryland, passed away on March 31, 2020 at Prince Georges County Hospital.
Born in Perry Hall, Baltimore County, Maryland, he was the son of Patricia Ann Daley and Jeremiah Michael Daley, Jr.
Kevin, from an early age thrived and seized the opportunity to participate in organized recreation sports including baseball and football that culminated with his being a 4-year varsity baseball player and 3-year varsity football player at The Boys Latin School of Maryland. His parents cherish the 5-year old in full football attire and the 18 year-old All Star All MIAA Offensive Lineman, and Captain of the football team his senior year. Another unforgettable achievement was his attaining his life guarding certification at 15 years of age and working for four summers at the Johns Hopkins University Summer Camp at Homewood Campus. Kevin loved to work on whatever car he owned at the time and was always washing and waxing same.
Kevin graduated from The Boys Latin School of Maryland and attended Susquehanna University for one semester.
He was employed in recent years in the field of supplying thoroughbred horses with feed and other supplies servicing Laurel Racecourse and private farms. During this time he was with his girlfriend Jessica Brady and lived in Owings, Maryland.
In the years that followed, Kevin traveled through life with many peaks and valleys. He fought a hard fight with the demons of addiction. Kevin found peace on March 31, 2020 and a decision was made to join the organ donation program and through his sacrifice four lives were saved.
His parents will now bring him home to the family burial site.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Jeremiah and Patricia Daley, his brother, Jeremiah Daley III, a career Naval Officer in San Diego, his sister-in-law, Danielle Daley, and three nephews, Jeremiah, IV, Jackson, and Mason Daley.
Private Catholic burial services will be held at St. Mary Star of the Sea, Church Creek, Maryland, with Celebrant Rev. Michael Casari.
