Lois Bonfoey Sellers, 84, of Cambridge MD passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Mallard Bay Care Center, Cambridge.
Born in Old Saybrook, CT on December 12, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Eva Mae Smith Bonfoey.
On August 28, 1948 Lois married Benny Lee Sellers and together raised four children. Mr. Sellers died January 1, 1994.
She was a member of Spedden United Methodist Church for many years.
Lois retired from Rob Roy sewing factory after 30 years of service. She attended the YMCA and enjoyed the water aerobics.
Surviving her are children Carol Ann Gunby and husband Walter of East New Market, Robert “Bobby” Sellers of Cambridge, Joan Welsh and her husband Doug of Rehoboth, DE and Betty Jane Gannon and her husband Lawrence of Church Hill; grandchildren Jeff Linthicum and his wife Marybeth, Amy Cox and her husband Jeremy, Laura Hall and her husband Eddie, Ellen Sellers, Ronnie Thomas, Jennifer LaPointe and her husband Maury, Chris Welsh, Lindsey, Rachel and Josh Gannon; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 beginning 10:00 a.m. at Dorchester Memorial Park, Cambridge with Rev. Dr. Robert Kirkley officiating.
