Michael Edward Kral

Michael E. Kral, 70, of East New Market, Maryland passed away peacefully at his home with his wife by his side.

Born on September 1, 1956 in Cambridge, Maryland, he was the son of the late Edward Kral and Alice Lane Kral.

Mike graduated from North Dorchester High School with the class of 1975.

He made his career in farming and continued until his health forced him into retirement. Mike was a past member of East New Market Volunteer Fire Company.

Mike married the former Martha Mauk in 1986 and was just shy of their 40th anniversary in December.

He is survived by his wife Martha, children Edward “Pete” Kral and his wife Rebecca, Emma Copenhaver and her husband Thomas; grandchildren Joseph Clark Kral, Orion Eli Kral, Linda Rose Kral and Nova Valkyrie Kral; a sister Joanne Owens and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church Cemetery in Secretary.
