Sharon T. Bullock, née Legg, was born on April 10, 1947, in Cambridge, Maryland. She was a radiant presence whose beauty shone both inside and out, touching the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Sharon’s warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit were the hallmarks of a life lived with love and grace.
A proud graduate of NDHS in the class of 1965, Sharon carried with her the lessons and friendships from her youth into every chapter of her life. She dedicated many years to serving her community by working in school cafeterias, a role in which she nourished not only bodies but spirits, always ready with a smile and a comforting word for the children and staff. Though her time with us came to an end on March 12, 2026, in Seaford, Delaware, the legacy she leaves behind is vibrant and enduring.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Jennifer Walter and her husband Jason. Her brothers, George Legg and his wife Daphne, along with Robert "Bobby" Legg and his wife Debra; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved son, Thomas R. Todd II, as well as her parents, George W. Legg II and Freida Richardson Legg, and her sister, Beverly Lyons and her husband Donald.
As we bid farewell to Sharon T. Bullock, we celebrate a beautiful soul whose gentle kindness, unwavering love, and joyful spirit will continue to inspire and comfort all who knew her. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her presence in our hearts will remain forever.
A private graveside service will be held at the East New Market Cemetery.
