SHARON LEE ELLIOTT

Sharon Lee Elliott, age 42, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Hospice of Queen Anne’s, Centreville, MD.

Born on May 26, 1966 in Malaga, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Charles Turner Elliott of Black Mountain, NC and the late Joan Martha Murcavage Elliott.

Sharon was a graduate of Queen Anne’s County High School, Class of 1984.

Sharon was a member of Greensboro Baptist Church. She loved all animals and was an avid horseback rider. Sharon was an ardent supporter of the Queen Anne County 4H Fair.

Prior to her illness, Sharon had been employed as an animal control officer for Queen Anne’s County Animal Control.

Surviving is her daughter Amanda Marie Singleton and her husband Ryan Ebling of Church Hill, MD; a sister Sandy Moore and her fiancé Luke Outten of Centreville, MD; a brother Michael Kevin Elliott of Orlando, FL; and a niece Rebecca Joan Moore of Centreville, MD.

Sharon’s final wish was to be cremated. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12th at Greensboro Baptist Church Hall, 401 W. Sunset Avenue, Greensboro, with The Rev. Richard Parks, Pastor officiating. Inurnment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made in Sharon’s memory to Hospice of Queen Anne’s, 255 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD 21617.

Cremation service was entrusted to Mid Shore Cremation Center, Cambridge.
