Susan Allen Kraushaar, 70, of Church Creek, MD, died on Monday, February 12, 2018.

Born on May 19, 1947 in Ferndale, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Cpt. Albert C. Allen and Phyllis Allen.

Susan was a woman that had great faith in God. She attended public schools in Anne Arundel County, MD and graduated from Andover High School where she was the Captain of the cheerleading squad and set many records on the swim team. Susan worked as a Drug Counselor

Susan’s greatest accomplishments were being an outstanding, loving, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and all around beautiful person. She loved singing, yardwork, pets and friends, her boat trips to the sand bar with the grandkids/great grandkids and her burn pile.

Susan always put others before herself, always smiled and had a kind word for everyone.

She will be missed dearly by her family and friends and anyone that had the pleasure to know her. She will be most dearly missed by her husband Charles.

Surviving her is husband of 16 years Charles Ellsworth Kraushaar of Church Creek, MD; brother Bobby Register; children Stacey Elaine Holler of Pasadena, MD, Kelley Renee Ritter of Hampstead, MD; stepchildren Charles Ellsworth Kraushaar, Jr. of Pasadena MD, Sean Christopher Kraushaar of Kensington, MD and Bridget Christina Prichard of Falling Waters, WV; 13 grandchildren, Donald Edward White III of Brooklyn, MD, Kyle Matthew White of Glen Burnie, MD, Brittany Michelle White of Glen Burnie, MD, Sarah Elise Ritter of Hampstead, MD, Lauren Patricia Ritter of Hampstead MD, Benjamin Joseph Ritter of Hampstead, MD, Alexander Ward Ritter of Hampstead, MD, Sierra Nicole Kraushaar of Pasadena, MD, Nathan Tyler Wood Kraushaar of Kensington MD, Landon Christopher Kraushaar of Kensington MD, Austin Charles Kraushaar of Kensington, MD, Grayson Wade Prichard of Falling Waters, WV, and Liam Robert Prichard from Falling Waters, WV; 3 great grandchildren, Bryce Robert Vernon White of Brooklyn Park, MD, Jayden Cole Rigsbee of Glen Burnie, MD, and John Howard Ridenour IV of Pasadena, MD and her nephews and nieces.

There will be a service planned for a later date to celebrate the life of Susan Allen Kraushaar.
