Tanya Lee Wroten, 60, of Cambridge, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Accentcare @ Medstar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore.
Born on June 21, 1962 in Maryland, she was the daughter of Gloria Moyd and the late Philip Wroten.
She attended the local schools and graduated from North Dorchester High School with the class of 1980.
Tanya enjoyed taking care of others so much, that she made her career as a caregiver. She also worked with Channel Markers.
In her spare time Tanya enjoyed going to auctions, yard sales and fundraisers. Playing bingo and going to the casinos were two of her favorite things to do. She volunteered at Snip and Tuck and attended Countryside Christian Church.
Spending time with her grandbabies was the highlight in Tanya’s life, along with her dog Zeke. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving her besides her mother are two daughters Brandy Elbourn (Tyrone Pinder), Jody Elbourn (Michael Mullinix, Sr.); grandchildren Ty'sun and Ty'lun Pinder, Michael”Mikey” Mullinix, Jr. and Mastin Mullinix; brothers Eddie Abbott and Brandon Moyd; uncle Ricky Rossy and two good friends Pam LeCompte and Lisa Malkus.
Preceded in her death besides her father was a brother Blane Draper and Mamie Rossy who was like a mother to her.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 beginning 11 a.m. at East New Market Cemetery, East New Market, Maryland, with Pastor John Herbst officiating.
