Wade A. Kenny of Madison, Maryland passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of January 4, 2023, surrounded by his wife and children.

Born in Cambridge, Maryland on June 23, 1964, he was the son of the late Phillip Warren Kenny Jr. and Margret Ellen Merrick Kenny.

He was a proud graduate of Cambridge South Dorchester High School, class of 1982 and spent his life serving others and giving back to his community. Wade was a paramedic and firefighter as well as coach for Dorchester Pop Warner football and Cambridge Little League. He finished his accomplished career as a master technician for Ford Motor Company at the Hertrich Ford Dealership in Easton, MD

Wade was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed kayak fishing, hunting, golfing, and kart racing. He loved his family and friends deeply.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ramona “Missy” Frazier Kenny; and his children Jacob Kenny (Erin), Jade Kenny Thrush (Casey) and Millie Kenny.

He is also survived by his brother Phillip Warren Kenny III (Sandi), his Aunt Peggy Merrick, and cousins Steve Merrick (Julie) and Tish Merrick Blessings (William). Wade’s extended family consisted of his sister-in-law Donna Frazier Travers (Rodney) and their children Parris Abt (Stephen), Nellie Daigle (Justin), and Gabrielle Hastings (Kyle); and his brother-in-law Tommy Frazier (Kim) and his children Phillip Frazier, Myles Frazier (Natalie), Thomas Frazier, James Frazier, and William Frazier; along with numerous great nieces and nephews.

Wade requested the acknowledgement of his lifelong friends: Ed Bramble, Darren Bromwell, Dave Bromwell, Mike McAllister, Bill Marshall, Bobby Marshall, George Robinson, Jeff Ruark, Rick Saunders and Tom Thompson; as well as his special co-workers Shane Burton and Pete Homes.

On Monday January 9th a visitation will be held 11am-12pm, followed by a celebration of life at Open Bible Church in Cambridge, Maryland officiated by Pastor Steve Bloodsworth.
