Edna Elizabeth Nuttall, 93, of Madison, with her daughters and granddaughter by her side, passed away to her Heavenly Glory Friday evening, September 25, 2020.

Born May 22, 1927 in Bristol, Tennessee Edna was a daughter of the late Annie and Ira Hobbs. Upon completion of high school Edna attended Mars Hill College in North Carolina for religious education.

On June 30, 1962 Edna married Frank H. Nuttall.  They were blessed with two daughters and forty years of marriage before his passing in 2003.

Edna and her husband owned and operated L & H Dry Cleaners in Glen Burnie, Maryland ,retiring in 1984. After their retirement they moved to Madison where they enjoyed being near the water and the Eastern Shore life style. She enjoyed fishing and crabbing, gardening and anything involving the outdoors. Edna was very family oriented, her family and her Lord were her life. From a young child she was a devoted Baptist. Edna greatly enjoyed Bible study.

Surviving are her daughters Victoria Siebert of Madison and Karen Pritchard (Jimmy Pusloski) of Cambridge; brother Robert “Bob” Hobbs (Midge); grandchildren Christal Beebe (Christian), Angela Thompson (Tommy), and Michael Pritchard; great- grandchildren Karis Thomson, Kyla Thomson, Keely Thomson, Joshua Morris and Ailin Thompson; close friend Susan Wingate who helped transition her into the home of her Heavenly Father.

Preceded in her death besides her parents and husband are sisters Agnes Burdette, Katherine Kistner, Shirley Ann Groves and Thelma “Francis” Sproles.

A walk through viewing and visitation with family will be held Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm at Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., Cambridge.

A graveside funeral service will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery beginning 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Robert Kirkley officiating. Interment will follow.

Serving as pallbearers will be Edna’s family members.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations should be made to Madison Volunteer Fire Dept., PO Box 23, Madison, Md 21648.

Social distancing and face coverings will be required.
